Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Ireland

Meet your group in Dublin from where you will transfer to the luxury of Mount Falcon Castle, Ballina, Co. Mayo. Relax and settle in for your 4-night stay on this fabulous estate. Enjoy a walk around and get to know the property before meeting the group for a get together cocktail reception and early dinner.

Day 2: Golf Enniscrone - Tour County Mayo

Enniscrone is a classic links with dramatic dunes, superb greens and absolutely breathtaking views. It has hosted many major championships including the Irish Close and the prestigious West of Ireland.
Visit the attractive town of Westport which is home to Matt Molloy, one of the founders of the Chieftains. You can climb the famous pilgrim mountain of Croagh Patrick. Visit and shop for beautiful throws, blankets and gifts at the last working mill in Ireland at Foxford Woolen Mills, founded in 1892.

Day 3: Golf Rosses Point - Visit Yeats Country

Situated on the Rosses Point Peninsula is yet another great championship links. Since 1923, Rosses Point, has been home to the West of Ireland Championships. It was designed by Harry Colt in 1927. Set in the shadow of and Bald Ben Bulben's Head (Yeats) overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, golf competes with scenic splendor in this idyllic setting.
Tour famous Yeats Country, home to Nobel laureate W.B. Yeats and his artist brother, Jack B. Yeats. 

Day 4: Salmon Fishing, Hiking, Clays & Spa

They say a change is as good as rest, so why not relax in the wonderful countryside around the Mount Falcon estate and the colorful market town of Ballina. Enjoy hikes, clay shooting, salmon fishing on the River Moy, Irelands number one salmon river, or simply relax in the Elemis Spa. You may also wish to visit local gardens and go antiquing. If you can't do without golf today, a round can be arranged at the challenging and spectacular Carne Links!

Day 5: Golf Murvagh - Killybegs & Bushmills Inn

Lying in the bosom of beautiful Donegal Bay and backed by the magnificent Blue Stack Mountains, Murvagh was designed by the master of Irish golf course architecture, Eddie Hackett and is a favorite of Nick Faldo. Stay 2-nights at the legendary Bushmills Inn.
Visit Belleek today to see where they make the world famous Parian China. After lunch we will see the colorful fishing village of Killybegs, the majestic Slieve League Cliffs which are the highest in Europe and the Irish speaking area of Glencolmcille.

Day 6: Golf Royal Portrush - Giant's Causeway & Historic Derry

Today we play the majestic Royal Portrush, a world top 10 and golfing home to present day major winners Rory McIlroy, Graham McDowell and Darren Clarke. What a treat is in store!
Visit the magnificent Giant's Causeway an interpretative center on the northern coast of Ireland. Continue to Derry for a private guided tour of the historic walls of the city, the best example in Ireland.

Day 7: Titanic Belfast & Dublin City

Leaving Bushmills we head east for a tour of Belfast which has become one of the most popular cities to visit in Europe. You will learn about the history, see Queen's University, the Georgian architecture and a new jewel in Belfast's crown, the award winning Titanic Exhibition which opened in April 2012, 100 years after her sinking. After lunch we head south to arrive in Dublin in time for some exploring after we check in for a 2-night stay at the Westbury Hotel which overlooks fashionable Grafton Street, location, location!

Day 8: Golf Portmarnock - Sightseeing, Shopping, Galleries & Museums in Dublin

Portmarnock is the number one championship course in Ireland, having hosted numerous Irish Opens, Walker, Curtis and Canada Cups. It is easy to see the pedigree of this fine links when playing the challenging fairways and firm greens in the ever present winds off the Irish sea.
Don't miss the museums, galleries and great shopping in Dublin.  Favorite spots include Trinity College, MOMA, the National Museum which holds Irelands ancient treasures, the apartments at Dublin Castle and St. Patricks Cathedral where Jonathan Swift was once Dean.  Farewell dinner and traditional entertainment tonight.

Day 9: Transfer to Dublin Airport to prepare for your journey back to the United States

After breakfast this morning you will transfer to Dublin airport for your return flight home.  We trust you will be parting with some wonderful memories of your Ireland experience and golfing exploits, not to mention new found friends from your visit to our Emerald Isle!
