Without doubt the east coast of Scotland is the most popular golfing region with
visiting golfers. The courses are neatly clustered together so that you spend more
time playing golf and relaxing afterward and less time on the road.
Based in St. Andrews you can easily play Carnoustie, Kingsbarns and all the St.
Andrews Courses, including. Old, New, Jubilee and Castle. Down the coast about 40-minuites
from St. Andrews Crail, Leven, Lundin Links and Elie await. Just east of Edinburgh
we can add Muirfield, Gullane, North Berwick and Dunbar! No wonder the Scottish
east coast is the place to be for golf.

Scotland's Classic Southwest serves up a feast of Open courses that include the
outstanding links of Turnberry, Royal Troon and Prestwick and of course the superlative
Western Gailes.
The coastal stretch at Turnberry, intermingling turbulent dunes and rocky crags,
represents links golf at its best. Royal Troon is a classic links course in every
respect, as the golfer is eased into the challenge with each hole appearing to get
progressively tougher, the greens requiring touch and imagination. Western Gailes’
narrow fairways demand accurate tee shots and with so many greens tucked away in
little hollows or dells, the course presents an excellent test of skill, patience
and concentration. Prestwick boasts a unique array of holes, which can be forgiving
on calm days, but when the wind rolls in from the Firth of Clyde it’s a tough test.

Probably Scotland's best kept secret, the north coast courses are truly golfing
gems. The jewel in the Highland golfing crown is definitely Royal Dornoch Golf Club,
universally rated as being in the world's top 20 golf courses.
The Carnegie Links represents all that is great about Scottish golf, from the friendly
intimate and warm Golf House to its fine traditional links course. Nairn is certainly
one of Scotland's finest and most picturesque links courses, while golf at Cruden
Bay is full of surprises, very much a traditional links with humps, hollows and
greens tucked into unimaginable spots.
And finally Royal Aberdeen; this highly rated traditional links course boasts a
balance of long and short par 4's, testing par 3's and tricky par 5's, which due
to wind speed and direction, play differently each day.
